Orders placed with
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC
are under the following terms and
conditions. This document must be read and agreed prior
to scheduling your vehicle(s). We appreciate the
opportunity of doing business with you, and look forward
to serving you again.
1. Payments: The deposit for standard
and enclosed auto shipping orders may be paid by check,
credit card, mailed money order, cashiers check or
PayPal. The Initial deposit amount will be given by
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC. The remaining balance
will be paid to the Carrier when Carrier delivers your
vehicle(s) unless otherwise stated. Carriers accept:
cash, money orders, and cashiers checks. Customer will
be given a receipt.
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC
is not responsible for payment to the
Carrier unless we act as a Carrier. The amount owed to
the Carrier must be paid by the customer prior to the
vehicle(s) being released.
Customer may cancel the order by
notifying us within 48 hours before we schedule the pick
up date, otherwise the deposit is not refundable.

Dependable
Auto Transport LLC
agrees to deliver customer's vehicle(s) or offer it to a
DOT authorized, licensed, fully insured automobile
transporter and to act as liaison between the customer
and the transporter before, and during the transport.
3. There is no guarantee for pickup
or delivery date. All dates are estimated. Delays may
occur due to Carrier schedules, accidents or mechanical
failure, severe weather, and other unforeseen
circumstances.

Door-to-Door Service means the truck will get as close
to the physical address as legally and safely possible.
Customer agrees to meet the driver at a large parking
lot for pick up and/or delivery if requested by the
transporter.
5.
Customer acknowledges that there will be no car rentals
arising from a delay in the delivery/pickup or damage of
a vehicle(s) and Carrier or Broker will not be liable
for car rentals at any time whatsoever.
6. Customer acknowledges and agrees
that the persons listed at the point of origin and the
point of destination are appointed agents for the
purpose of releasing vehicle(s), approving charges,
accepting delivery and releasing the Carrier
from any and all
claims upon acceptance of delivery. If the owner is
unavailable or does not accept the shipment at a point
of safe approach by trucker's road haul equipment to the
destination address, the Carrier may place the shipment
in a storage facility of its choice subject to a lien
for all lawful charges. The liability on the part of the
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC,
will cease when the shipment is unloaded into the
warehouse or storage yard and the shipment shall be
considered as having been delivered. Vehicle(s)
transported and covered by this agreement serve as
collateral with a security interest position in favor of
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC. until all charges are
paid and monies cleared.
The customer may authorize a person
to act as their agent at either pick up or delivery
location and provide us with alternative contact
information.
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC. will not be
responsible for any additional charges incurred due to
the customer delays.
7. The customer agrees to make full
disclosure to
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC. regarding the
operational status of the vehicle(s) and if the
vehicle(s) is oversized. The customer is also
responsible for preparing the vehicle(s) for transport,
all loose parts fragile or oversized accessories, low
hanging spoilers, fog lights, antennas, etc., must be
removed and/or properly secured.
Any part that falls off in transit is shipper's
responsibility, including damages done by said part to
any and all vehicle(s) involved.
This is essential to insuring
customer's vehicle(s) will be picked up and not left if
it is larger than noted on the paperwork. If the driver
comes to pick up this vehicle(s) and it is larger than
expected or if it is an in-operative vehicle(s), extra
charges may be added or the order will be cancelled. All
non-operational vehicle(s) tendered for transportation
will be charged an additional minimum of a $150. If a
vehicle(s) is rendered for shipment and later becomes
non-operational, additional $150 fee will be charged. It
is customer's responsibility to make sure vehicle(s) is
in proper working conditions.
8. Customer is allowed to put up to
100 pounds of personal belongings inside the vehicle;
however
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC. is not responsible for
any losses.
Dependable
Auto Transport LLC. will charge extra fees
for each additional pound that exceeds 100 pound limit.
9. Additional terms and conditions
may apply to the transporter and appear on the Bill of
Lading. The customer and his agent agree to fully
inspect the vehicle(s) at both pick up and delivery, and
annotate all damages on the Carrier's Bill of Lading
before the driver leaves. All claims for in transit
damage must be addressed to the transporter. Carrier's
responsibility begins when the shipper or his agent
signs the bill of lading at pickup, and terminates when
the shipper or his agent signs the bill of lading at
delivery.
10. Absolutely no firearms, alcohol,
hazardous material, contraband, and no illegal
substances may be allowed on the vehicle(s). Vehicle(s)
are subject or inspection by DOT and/or State Police.
